FOREWORD 

Reading through the foreword, George Samuel Clason has prepared our minds on what to expect .
Prosperity as a nation depends upon the personal financial prosperity of each of us as individuals.
The author gave a succint definition of success to mean accomplishments as the result of our own efforts and abilities.
Also, from the foreword, the purpose of the book which is to offer those who are ambitous for financial success an insight which will aid them to acquire money, to keep money and to make their surpluses earn more money.
The author has chosen Babylon as the setting of this Book. According to the author, ‘Babylon became the wealthiest city of the ancient world because its citizens were the richest people of their time. They appreciated the value of money. They also practised sound financial principles in acquiring money , keeping money and making their own money earn more money for themselves . They provided for themselves what we all desire … incomes for the future.’
