OBEDIENCE IN FINANCES BY KENNETH E. HAGIN

The writer started by referring to the book of Philippians 4:19 which says “ My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.

According to the writer from his almost  50 years of preaching faith, he came to the conclusion that people fail more when it comes to faith for finances than anything else. The reason is that they are trying to exercise faith for finances, but  they haven’t planted any seed! They want God to bless their finances even though they haven’t planted anything.

He made references to Luke 6:38 and second Corinthians 9:6. You can receive finances through two principal methods.

-Believing and obeying the bible
-A supernatural manifestation of the Holy Spirit

According to the writer we haven’t really given  until we have paid our tithes. See Hebrews 7:8 and Malachi 3:10

Do not something just because somebody else did it. Don’t operate on another person’s experience. Operate on what you know the bible says and operate on what the Holy Spirit is saying to you.

According to the writer when we are obedient  in your tithes, we do not only experience financial increase but also divine healing.

Obedience is the key to receiving  from God and it is also the key to being used by God. If we can learn to hear God’s voice and to obey Him in the area of our personal finances, it will open the door to further blessings in our own lives and will pave the way for Him to use us in greater ways to bless mankind.
